Questions about the number of players/team size
Can we play two rooms at the same time with a large group?
Yes, that’s not a problem. Please check our booking calendar directly to see if both rooms are available on your preferred date – and then simply book both. The start time for your event will then be the start time of the first game, unless we agree otherwise.
Can we play your rooms in pairs?
Generally: no.
The rooms are designed for large groups and are therefore extremely difficult for two people. For very experienced escapers, we can still make it possible to play the music machine room as a team of two. The rate is the same as for 3 people. However, please consider looking for one or two more players, as the flow of the game is certainly better with a larger team.
Can we play with more players than the maximum number allowed in the room?
Unfortunately not.
cancellation
Until when can I cancel/cancel or postpone my match?
More than 14 days before the date:
- Your booking can be canceled free of charge.
14 days to 48 hours before the date:
- Your booking will be converted into a voucher. The validity time is 365 days.
- If you have already chosen an alternative date, we will be happy to rebook you.
Less than 48 hours before the booked appointment:
- Your booking will be converted into a voucher and a service fee of €30 will be charged.
- We charge a rebooking fee of 20€ for last-minute rebooking to a new date.

Do you have accessible rooms?
Mobility issues
The “magical music machine” room is barrier-free – at least as far as wheelchair accessibility is concerned. The narrowest corridor that we cannot change is 70 cm wide. If in doubt, please get in touch with us and we will exchange our experiences and see how we can arrange it. The highest threshold to be crossed is a normal threshold at the entrance door (1-2 cm).
Unfortunately, we do not have a wheelchair-accessible toilet!
The rooms the traveler and the mysterious melody are not wheelchair accessible for structural reasons.
Accessibility - lighting effects, colors, etc.
Trigger warnings, lights and colors
We use light and sound effects (LED), but generally no strobes or similar.
Magical Music Machine (Kartäuserwall)
This classic room gets by with very few lighting effects (only illuminated screens) and should cause problems for very few people.
The traveller (Kartäuserwall)
LED running lights are used in the traveler’s room. Although these do not flash or flicker, they could be problematic for people with epilepsy. If in doubt, we would advise those affected not to visit. We look forward to hearing from you so that we can discuss the issue openly.
The mysterious Melody (Mauritiussteinweg)
Noteworthy lighting effects in this room are the disco balls (visible on the website), which are illuminated and set in motion for a short time.
Information for colorblind people
We have made every effort to take the needs of colorblind people into consideration wherever possible. However, this is never 100% possible.
Of course, escape rooms are team games for people with a wide range of skills. So if you can’t solve a puzzle, someone else in your team certainly can!
Can we play your rooms in English?
Yes, you can play most of our rooms in english and you can also read the whole site in english. Please click the language toggle in the menu.
Also let us know if you wish to play in english (you can do so by choosing your language in the booking form), because we must prepare the game for this.
Further questions about the game
Is it scary? Will I be locked up?
No, you’re just playing a game! You won’t be locked in here, it’s not cramped and there are no shock effects. The lighting is also usually sufficient. Some of our rooms even have daylight.
Is the Magical Music Machine / Mysterious Melody also suitable for non-musicians?
But of course. Even if you are not musical, can read music or play an instrument, you will have a lot of fun with us.
Will our group be separated during the game?
No, your group stays together as a team from start to finish. Of course, this does not apply if you occupy two rooms at the same time with a large group.

These prices refer to the live escape rooms in Cologne.
We have a discount of €5 per person on the cheap Escape Wednesday – this will be deducted directly from the online booking for a game on a Wednesday.

The most important in a nutshell
Our “magical music machine” room is suitable for children. And so, of course, for children’s birthday parties.
- Minimum age 11 years (recommendation of the house: at least 5th grade).
- One adult supervisor is included in the price.
Important note:
The playrooms “The Traveler” and “Mysterious Melody” are not suitable for children.
Opening hours
Mondays to Fridays: 15:00 – 22:00
Saturdays and Sundays: 09:30 – 22:00

Special opening times during the summer vacations, on public holidays and for events can also be found in the booking calendar (no guarantee).

Procedure
Please be on time, i.e. at the booked time, so as not to delay the process too much for the following groups. We need enough time to prepare and tidy the rooms for the next group. Please also bear in mind that there is probably another group in the room playing before you that still wants to finish.
As soon as your group is complete, we will briefly explain how the game works and then you can get started! If there is still time after the game and you feel like it, we can take another look at the room together or take a photo of you in the room.
Your total stay lasts approx. 80-90 minutes.
