What is Boller Battle?
Action and thrills in a simple handcart, how is that possible? The small cart contains a whole load of exciting challenges. With team spirit, competition and lots of fun, you’ll create unforgettable experiences. It’s just like on TV – only outside at a location of your choice!

- Each handcart contains 9 different games from 4 categories: Quizzes, Action, Tactics and Skill.
- Storage space for drinks or your picnic basket - you can even order drinks from our partners!

Questions about booking and other procedures
Where does the tour start? How does the event work?
Arrive at Kartäuserwall 53 in Cologne on the date you have booked. You will receive a short briefing there.
Then take your new friend to the Volksgarten, the Römerpark or the Rhine.
You can get all further information from us on site – we look forward to seeing you!
How long is a tour?
The rental period is 3 hours – that’s enough time to compete in all the mini-games and determine the champions of the Boller Battle.
Larger groups - how does it work with more than 12 people?
No problem! The tour is ideal for 8-12 people, but even if there are more of you, you can simply take turns at the games. Or cheer each other on!
The solution for much larger groups: even more handcarts! This means that everyone can really take part at the same time. We are happy to coordinate your start times so that you can all set off together.

Weather, clothing, mobility, bathrooms
Rainy weather in Cologne? What happens now?
Don’t worry! Our specially developed handcarts can easily withstand light rain showers. If required, we also offer you a practical roofing system free of charge, with which you can set up a 3×4 meter rain cover in just a few minutes. Weatherproof clothing is of course still recommended.
If the weather conditions are extremely bad and the event cannot be held safely, you will receive a voucher that you can use to catch up on the action at a later date.
Dress code - is there anything we need to consider for the Cologne Boller Battle?
No special clothing is required (i.e. no sportswear etc.)! For your Boller Battle in Cologne, we recommend comfortable everyday clothing so that you can move freely.
Tip: look out of the window beforehand to check the weather. After all, the Boller Battle is an outdoor activity!
Is the Boller Battle barrier-free?
Practically every participant can take part without any special requirements. If one person in your group has special needs or mobility restrictions, please let us know in advance – where possible, we will be happy to adapt the activities accordingly. This way, the whole team can really enjoy the experience to the full!
Is there a WC at the pick-up station?
Unfortunately, we cannot provide you with a toilet at the pick-up point. However, we have recommendations for you on where you can go to clean public toilets nearby.

What kind of activities await us?
Each cart has games in 4 categories on board:
- Quiz games
- Dexterity
- Tactics
- Action
All these tasks are realized with high-quality material.
Do I have to be sporty?
Don’t worry: no special sporting skills are required! With an average level of fitness, everyone can take part without any problems and experience the full fun of the game.
The Boller Battle really is an inclusive experience for the whole team, regardless of fitness or training level. These are mini-games, not sporting tests!
Teamwork or competition?
You can form up to 4 separate teams within your group. You will then compete against each other in the various challenges.
You collect points through successful rounds to be crowned the champions of the Boller Battle at the end.
The friendly competition creates a playful tension and welds your team together. After the second round at the latest, you’ll be rooting for the other teams too!

Drinks and food - What are the options?
The handcarts have a spacious storage compartment with room for 2 standard drinks crates.
You can pre-order drinks in connection with your booking.
Or you can simply pack your favorite drinks and snacks. There are also numerous kiosks along the way where you can get additional refreshments.
Where are we going with the car?
The beautiful Volkspark is just 10 minutes away. It is the closest option, but the Römerpark in the direction of the Rhine is also quickly and easily accessible.
There are also public toilets at all these locations. We will be happy to provide you with a map for orientation.
Are toilets available?
Yes, public toilets are available at all the parks and paths we recommend. If you receive a city map from us, these will also be marked on it. Unfortunately, there are no customer toilets available at the pick-up location.

The magical music machine is a classic, action-packed and fun-filled escape room. Up to 8 players can solve puzzles and experience an exciting story in a pleasant atmosphere.
“The Traveler – Lost in Time and Space” can accommodate up to 7 people and impresses with amazing effects and brain-twisting puzzles.

Escape Rooms City Center
A state-of-the-art room – and more under construction!
The mysterious melody is our very latest room. It takes you on an exciting journey back to the 1960s, with lots of puzzles and team activities. A really good escape room!

This list is updated regularly.
Pickup
- one person must have a photo ID with them to sign the rental agreement.
- not all participants have to be present for the pick-up if it makes the organization easier. However, there should be at least 4 people per car. Reason:
- we provide a brief but thorough introduction to the handcart, its operation and the games.
- You can arrange the exact return time with our staff on site. Please note that collection and return are not necessarily carried out by the same person.
Return
- The person who signed the rental agreement must also be present when the car is returned. We will briefly inspect the car together to check for any damage or missing parts.
Catering
- You can add drinks to your booking. If you want to change your order or order something else, just send us a short e-mail or give us a call!
- We are NOT able to offer you a toilet at pick-up and drop-off. However, there are clean public toilets at the recommended parks.
