Our handcarts are the highlight of your team event, birthday party, or bachelor party! The Boller Battle already wowed half of Cologne last summer. Now it’s the other half’s turn! Secure your spot in the sun today!

What is Boller Battle?

Our specially equipped handcarts are packed with exciting challenges: nine very different games for teams of all sizes await you!

Pick up your cart(s) from us, find a nice spot, and you’re all set to go! Open the compartments one after the other, discover cool games, and compete against each other in up to four groups.

With team spirit, friendly competition, and above all, lots of fun, you’ll create unforgettable memories. Play together or against each other — whatever you prefer. At this event, you’re completely free to do as you please, because just like a good handcart, the Boller Battle follows you wherever you go.

The Bollerbattle is, of course, designed as an outdoor event, so it’s great when the sun is shining on your teams.

Now and then the weather is not as we would wish. But that doesn’t mean a little rain can scare us — we’re prepared for anything!

You can play the Boller Battle with up to 12 people. If there are more of you — no problem!
Or you can just book two carts.

2. Book your cart

You can choose your preferred date yourself on our Boller booking page.
Do you need a special date? We look forward to your call or email.

3. Pick up cart

Please arrive as punctually as possible. One person must bring photo ID for the handover. We will briefly explain all the functions to you, and then you're ready to go!

4. Get going

Find a nice spot in the park or wherever you like with your handcart — our team will be happy to give you tips on the best places to play.

We’ll be waiting for you with the cart of your choice right in front of our location at Kartäuserwall 53.

We’ll agree on a return time, and then the handcart will be at your disposal for the next 3.5 hours! You should plan on about 2×15 minutes for the trip to the park and back.

Please be back at the drop-off point on time. We’ll quickly check together to make sure everything is in order, because we’ll need to get it ready for the next group right after that!

How long is the tour?

The rental period is 3.5 hours — so you have a full 3 hours to play! That’s plenty of time to crown the champions of the Boller Battle.

Larger groups - how does it work with more than 12 participants?

No problem! While the tour is best suited for 8–12 people, even if there are more of you, you can simply take turns playing the games. Or cheer each other on!

And we’ve got just the thing for much larger groups too: even more handcarts! That way, everyone can really get involved at the same time. We’d be happy to coordinate your start times so you can all set off together.

Weather, Clothing, Transportation, Restrooms

Rain or snow in Cologne? What now?

Don’t worry! Our specially designed handcarts can easily withstand light rain showers or snow. If necessary, we also offer a practical canopy system free of charge. Our pavilions can be set up in no time at all and provide protection from rain and snow. Weatherproof clothing is still recommended, of course.

If weather conditions are extremely poor and the event cannot be held safely, you will receive a voucher that you can use to make up for the missed activity at a later date.

Dress code – is there anything we need to keep in mind for the Cologne Boller Battle?

No special clothing is required (i.e., no sportswear, etc.)! For your Boller Battle in Cologne, we recommend comfortable everyday clothing so you can move freely.

Tip: Take a look out the window beforehand so you can dress for the weather. After all, the Boller Battle is an outdoor activity!

Is the Boller Battle accessible?

Virtually anyone can participate without any special requirements. If someone in your group has special needs or mobility limitations, please let us know in advance — if possible, we’ll be happy to adapt the activities accordingly. That way, the whole team can truly enjoy the experience to the fullest!

Are there any restrooms at the pickup location?

Unfortunately, we cannot provide restroom facilities at the pickup location. However, we have some recommendations for clean public restrooms nearby.

Do I have to be sporty?

Don’t worry: You don’t need any special athletic skills! With average everyday fitness, anyone can easily join in and have a great time.

The Boller Battle is truly an inclusive experience for the whole team, regardless of fitness level or training background. These are mini-games, not athletic challenges!

Teamwork or competition?

Within your group, you can form up to 4 separate teams. You’ll compete against each other in the various challenges.

By winning rounds, you’ll earn points to ultimately be crowned the champions of Boller Battle.

This friendly competition creates a playful sense of excitement and brings your team closer together. By the second round at the latest, you’ll be rooting for the other teams too!

What is the difference between the carts?

That’s a surprise!

Each car is evenly stocked with a mix of trivia, action, skill-based games, and other game categories. The names are used solely for identification purposes.

Drinks and food - What are the options?

The handcarts feature a spacious storage compartment that can hold two standard beverage crates.

You can pre-order drinks when you make your reservation.

Or you can just pack your favorite drinks and snacks. There are also plenty of kiosks along the way where you can buy more food and drinks.

Where are we going with the car?

Just 10 minutes away is the beautiful Volkspark. It’s the closest option, but the Römerpark, located toward the Rhine, is also quick and easy to reach.

There are also public restrooms at all of these locations. We’d be happy to provide you with a map to help you find your way around.

Are toilets available?

Yes, public restrooms are available at all the parks and trails we recommend. If you receive a city map from us, these locations are also marked on it. Unfortunately, there are no restrooms available for customers at the pickup location.

You have booked - how does the Boller Battle event work?

Are you in charge of organizing your team event? Here are a few tips to help you out

Pickup

One person must have a photo ID on hand to sign the lease.
Not all participants need to be present for pickup if it makes things easier for the organizers. However, there should be at least 4 people per vehicle. Reason:
We’ll give you a brief but thorough introduction to the handcart, how to use it, and the games.
You can arrange the exact return time with our staff on site. Please note that pickup and return do not necessarily have to be handled by the same person.

Return

The person who signed the rental agreement must also be present when returning the vehicle. We will briefly inspect the car together to identify any damage or missing parts.

Catering

You can add drinks to your reservation. If you need to make any changes to your order or would like to add anything else, just send us a quick email or give us a call!
We are unable to provide restroom facilities at the pickup and drop-off locations. However, there are clean public restrooms at the recommended parks.
